Clear Messaging Matters for AdTech Companies
Google posted an update saying invalid impressions on DV360 would “increase by 100%” and everyone freaked out thinking ad fraud was about to double.
Turns out it was just a reporting change. So there wasn't a spike in bots or extra charges. It was just really bad wording.
This brings me to why I shared this. A good product can still cause chaos if the message isn’t clear. Say what you mean with accuracy, or get ready to clarify it later.
